1. Data Controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data is Glovetrotter S.r.l., operating as a Destination Management Company (DMC) and Incoming Tour Operator, with its registered office at the address indicated above.

2. Types of Data Collected

As a DMC and Tour Operator, we process in particular:

Usage data (IP addresses, log files, technical cookies, and anonymized analytics cookies).
Master data and contact details (name, surname, email, phone number, address, date of birth, nationality).
Travel, event, and booking data (arrival and departure dates, travel preferences, logistical requirements, participation in activities and events).
Payment data (for bookings, invoicing, and additional services).
Special categories of personal data (e.g., food intolerances, mobility requirements, health data voluntarily provided to personalize services).

The data may originate from Italian, European, or non-European clients, both individual travelers (FIT) and groups (Leisure, Corporate, MICE).

Organizing and selling tailor-made incoming travel
Planning and carrying out events, incentives, meetings, congresses, and MICE activities in Italy
Coordinating tourism and logistics services (hotels, transfers, restaurants, experiences, cultural activities)

Sending service communications and booking information
Sending newsletters and promotional offers (subject to prior consent)

5. Methods of Processing

Data are processed both electronically and in paper form, in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, transparency, and data minimization. Appropriate security measures are taken to ensure confidentiality and integrity.

6. Retention Period

Personal data are stored only as long as necessary for the stated purposes, in particular:

For contracts and bookings, until their complete fulfillment
For legal and fiscal obligations, up to 10 years
For marketing purposes, until consent is withdrawn
